Notice: In glass craftsmanship. it's essential to understand that the nature of glass makes it inherently fragile. When cutting holes in glass. it is common for the edges to exhibit uncontrollable cracks. It's crucial to note that this occurrence is not indicative of a quality problem. Glass. being a delicate material. can sometimes respond unpredictably during cutting processes.
The unique characteristics of glass. including its brittleness and sensitivity to stress. contribute to these edge imperfections. As artisans. we take great care in working with glass. employing techniques to minimize such occurrences. However. it's important for clients to be aware that slight variations. including these edge irregularities. are inherent to the nature of glass and do not compromise the overall quality or structural integrity of the crafted piece.
