Hensford Orb Alabaster Wall Sconce
The Hensford Orb Alabaster Wall Sconce is a stone marble set on a brass tag. The backplate is a flat oval of brass. like a luggage label or a Victorian door escutcheon. and a single Spanish alabaster globe sits directly on it with no arm at all. the way a doorknob meets its plate. Nothing else shows but the two screws. Lit from within. the globe glows cloud-white with amber veins and washes the oval behind it in warm light. which is why this alabaster orb wall sconce on oval brass plate was designed for a hallway run. a bathroom mirror. or bedside walls in minimalist. mid-century. and organic-modern homes.
