Inspiration
  • Inspired by Japanese philosophy, the use of wood finish reflects the wabi-sabi attitude, which celebrates the beauty of imperfection and simplicity. The combination of these materials not only improves aesthetics but also ensures dependability, making it a distinctive addition to any room.

Understated up close

I actually appreciate it more now than I did on installation day. I was drawn to the material first and only really appreciated the shape after it arrived. We see the fitting from several positions, and the design holds together from all of them. I would plan the exact position before fitting it; once we did that, the design sat much more naturally in the room. The white finish helps the outline sit comfortably with the other finishes already in the room.

Characterful without taking over

The wood and the shape work together more convincingly in person than in the product photographs. The overall change is subtle, yet the room definitely feels better balanced. We wanted something that would look considered during the day, not only when the light was switched on. The size ended up being exactly what the space needed. The wood changes subtly as the daylight moves, which gives the fitting a different feel through the day.

Quietly distinctive once fitted

I especially like seeing it from the doorway. I was looking for something less generic, but still calm enough for an everyday home. I actually appreciate it more now than I did on installation day. The wood gives it enough texture to remain interesting even when the light is off. The wood provides enough detail that the area doesn't need much else visually.

Smart in the evening

It feels less formal in person than it did online. We wanted one change that would make the room feel more finished without redecorating. It has one character in daylight and another in the evening, and I like both. In our living room, the proportions are very comfortable; it is noticeable without swallowing the space. The way the ceiling light sits with ordinary furniture is one of the reasons it has worked for us.

Osian Wood
Strong with the material

The silhouette is clear from across the room but doesn't feel visually heavy. I would use the same design again in another room with similar proportions. We wanted one change that would make the room feel more finished without redecorating. The LED setup keeps the appearance clean and straightforward. In the living room, the shape has enough interest without asking everything else to match it.

Quiet elegance in motion

The serene elliptical rhythm creates such a harmonious flow, blending organic warmth with geometric precision to offer quiet sophistication without sacrificing artistic presence.

Subtle from different angles

The size ended up being exactly what the space needed. We wanted one change that would make the room feel more finished without redecorating. It gives the room personality without dictating the rest of the décor. The wood gives it enough texture to remain interesting even when the light is off. The ceiling light feels much more relaxed in a real home than it does against a plain product background.

Quietly striking design

The elliptical rhythm feels so intentional, balancing warmth and geometry without any clutter. It just sits there with this calm confidence that makes the whole room feel more put together.

Darcey Pickles
Considered for our room

It reads as part of the room rather than an object that was added afterwards. We wanted one change that would make the room feel more finished without redecorating. The white is easier to combine with other finishes than I expected. I like that it has detail without looking busy. In our living room, that balance between the fitting and the empty space around it is especially important.

Lovely day to day

The fitting doesn't rely on ornate details; the overall form does most of the work. A month or so later, I'm still pleased we chose the less obvious option. We chose this for a part of the house that gets used every day, so it needed to be easy to live with. I like that it has detail without looking busy. The ceiling light feels much more relaxed in a real home than it does against a plain product background.

Theodore White
Elevating Simplicity

The continuous elliptical rhythm adds quiet sophistication to a plain room. It balances organic warmth with geometric precision, creating a harmonious visual flow that feels intentional and artful without any excess ornamentation.

L
Lily Crosthwaite
Subtle with everyday furniture

We haven't changed anything else around it, which tells me the design is doing its job. The online photos made it look quite bold, but I hoped it would soften once it was surrounded by furniture. The white is easier to combine with other finishes than I expected. It has enough presence that we didn't need another decorative piece nearby. The ceiling light feels much more relaxed in a real home than it does against a plain product background.

Considered day to day

Our room is quite simple, so I wanted the lighting to add interest without making everything else feel underdressed. I like that it has detail without looking busy. After a few days, the shape stopped feeling 'new' and simply became part of the room. The result is quieter than I expected, in a good way. The white reads as part of the form rather than a separate decorative statement.

Lovely with the material

I was drawn to the material first and only really appreciated the shape after it arrived. The white is easier to combine with other finishes than I expected. It reads as part of the room rather than an object that was added afterwards. The warmer light is particularly pleasant in the evening and doesn't feel harsh. For this ceiling light, the wood is the detail that makes the design feel specific rather than interchangeable.

Lovely with the material

The finished room feels more relaxed than I expected from the product photos. I had a few options shortlisted, but the proportions of this one kept winning me over. The finish looks considered rather than excessively polished, which suits our home. It looks good from the sofa as well as when you enter the room. The wood provides enough detail that the area doesn't need much else visually.

G
Gareth Moore
Relaxed once fitted

I was slightly nervous about ordering a light I hadn't seen in person, especially because scale is hard to judge online. The proportions leave enough negative space around the fitting. The shape looks simple from a distance and reveals more detail as you get closer. A month or so later, I'm still pleased we chose the less obvious option. What works particularly well here is that the ceiling light leaves the living room feeling open.

Easy up close

We wanted something that would look considered during the day, not only when the light was switched on. The fitting doesn't rely on ornate details; the overall form does most of the work. The room now feels considered rather than simply furnished. It has enough presence that we didn't need another decorative piece nearby. For our living room, I prefer that it feels considered rather than overtly decorative.

F
Frank Morrison
Easy with everyday furniture

The white mainly defines the form rather than turning into a statement colour of its own. The online photos made it look quite bold, but I hoped it would soften once it was surrounded by furniture. I notice the shape more than the colour, which is what I wanted. A month or so later, I'm still pleased we chose the less obvious option. With this design, getting the proportions right matters more than adding decoration around it.

T
Thomas Williams
Polished Presence

I find myself drawn to how the form holds its own while remaining so unobtrusive. It creates a mood of refined simplicity that makes the whole area feel more put together and calm.

V
Vivian Kelly
Clean Lines and Quiet Calm

Sculptural Yet Warm

The piece carries a distinct sculptural edge while maintaining an inviting atmosphere. It avoids excess ornamentation, allowing clean lines to foster a harmonious visual flow that feels both modern and comfortably grounded.

H

Intentional Design

The elliptical rhythm gives the ceiling a serene, deliberate presence that feels carefully curated rather than randomly placed.

K
Katherine Morgan
Modern Harmony Achieved

I anticipated a standard minimalist look but found something far more serene. The subtle expressiveness through clean lines provides an atmosphere of modern minimalism where form follows function while maintaining artistic presence.

G
Grace Hill
Fluid Motion in Light

I anticipated a static form, yet the elliptical lines create a surprising sense of gentle movement. The design feels alive rather than fixed, offering a quiet sophistication that balances geometric precision with organic warmth.

L
Lucas Edwards
Harmonious Flow

The rhythm of the design brings a sense of unity between the structure and the surrounding atmosphere, making the lighting feel like an integrated part of the decor rather than just a fixture.

H
Henry Garcia
Artistic Atmosphere

The mood is one of quiet elegance, where subtle expressiveness replaces heavy decoration for a truly modern minimalist statement.

Simple elegance works

I really like how the clean lines create a sense of flow without being overwhelming. The quiet sophistication adds a nice layer of depth to the space without demanding attention.

G
Georgia Turner
Quietly Refined

The aesthetic strikes a balance between artistic presence and functional simplicity, feeling intentional rather than accidental. While the style leans toward the calmer side of what I typically select, the elegance remains undeniable, making it a sophisticated choice for those who appreciate subtle sophistication.
